pala casino buffet yelp This is a fun casino.
I'm not much of a gambler but it appears they've got most of your favorite vices covered.
Thier smoke free casino is not too bad and tolerable for the non smoker.
I primarily come here for the free concerts every Tuesday at 1pm.
They have some great tribute bands playing for about an hour.
I've seen Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, hits of 70 and 80's etc.
They were all tribute but very very good.
They also have live concerts on the lawn.
We saw Kenny Loggins a few months ago.
They seat up folding seats and theres access to the bar by the pool which is adjacent to the lawn.
Speaking of the pool.
There is a please click for source there and you can order food.
Definitely a fun casino on a smaller more personable scale.
For this experience, I will not ever come back to this casino.
They are a rip off first outside of racist company that looks out for their employees even if they are wrong.
I was invited by a high roller or more of a donator to Pala, to eat in the High Limit area.
I did and I got 2 small Pellegrino waters.
I drank some and I put them in a bag of which I got from Pala.
click at this page was then told I stole waters.
I was grabbed by the worker and she went in my bags only to discover she was incorrect.
She had no idea that I could take the waters with me.
Then they did "their investigation and told a complete lie about the entire situation.
This casino needs to be reported to the BBB shut down.
Outside the fact that they cheat people out of their hard earned money.
Last name Casino, have the right last name and you just may win.
I will drive to wherever before I come back here.
Plus the customer service sucks!
Spend all your money, at least give me some water!
Had an aaaaaAaamazing time here as a part of a celebratory weekend it involved winning, of course in 2017!
Had a fab time with 3 cool tables, all about the playas and dealers!
Wayne was cool and so was Vila I can't remember her whole name as it was a rather long Filipino name.
However, the dealer at the last table Meywhere I made my big win, was not so cool at all!!!
Not sure what her problem was but she did not chat or smile once with any of the players!!
But we were all cool and cheering each other on.
She totally messed up once and didn't even say sorry!!!
Yes, add that, it equals 21!!!
I mentioned it and the other players acknowledged it.
Pit boss came by and had her take the cards back out.
Yup, gimme my money, Biiiiatch!!!
I'll let that and the stick up her ss go cuz I won!!!
Anyway, for the most part, Pala's cool in my book.
Pechanga used to be my fave local casino but it's gotten too commercial.
Forget all the other casinos up along the 10 freeway, they're not my cup of tea and don't have that fun, resort feel.
This is a tranquil Casino Spa and Resort in heart of Palomar Mountains.
The casino is surrounded by stunning nature.
It has elegant designed room, spa, gym, pool and live entertainment.
This place has several dining options: Bar Meets Grill, The Oak Room, Luis Rey's, Sushi Sake, Pala Café, Noodles and The Buffet-Choices.
I highly recommend The Oak Room to try as it has excellent fine dining selections.
Noodles was terrible, I skip this place all together.
The Buffet was fairly good and worth the price.
The casino are full of older adults enjoying themselves with the one cent slot machine, which it was quit enjoyable for me to watch.
Staff here are professional and welcoming.
This place is clean and guest parking is free.
It is better than Vegas where you have to pay for resort fee.
Overall, it is a wonderful place to do a quick getaway.
I definitely would come again.
It may be further than Pechanga, but it is worthy the longer drive out as it is secluded Need mini vacation?
Want a quick getaway?
Join the fun up at Pala!
Take them up on this and go blow it on a game you want to try.
There were 7 in our group with 3 being newbies.
We all had a blast getting started with the card and continuing with a visit in the bar, a concert and being wiped out when it's finally time to go home.
Minus the "obnoxious ones", this resort has all of the amenities you experience at the larger size casinos.
Instead of spending hours driving to cross the state line for Lost Wages, drive on over to Pala.
Have a Haul'a time at Pala!
Booked a reservation at the spa for my husbands birthday, was supposed to be a perfect couples get away.
We drove over an hour to have them tell us they didn't have my reservation even after they called to confirm the day before.
Whole day was ruined.
Not to mention their inability to provide decent customer pala casino buffet yelp />Customer service goes a loooooong way!
Friendly, informative, willing to take that extra step is the best way I can describe the staff and that to me my friends deserves a 5 star.
Cathy for instance was working the poolside cafe in her regular uniform she was pulled from the casino cafe and didn't complain a bit considering it was about 100 degrees outside!
She didn't know where all the condiments were because obviously she was helping out, but she was very gracious, asked another server and got the job done!!
The ladies at the spa.
I spent the whole day there on a Tuesday, it was great, not too busy and everything was clean, neat, and ready.
I've been to other spas but this one by far definitely one of my favorite.
Other positives in my book: -Pool is "adult only" sorry kids!
I'll definitely be going back!
Casino is bright and clean.
The room is so luxurious.
Free water and coffee.
The bed is nice though I prefer a heavier comforter.
But discounted if you have anything higher than a regular players card.
They have lobster buffet night on Thursdays but also 9 other options for restaurants.
The pool has several small pools to choose from and is beautIfully lit at night.
Smell of smoke in the casino is not bad, I think their ventilation is pretty good compared to others.
Big casino lots to choose from.
Would recommend to a friend.
Shout out to the special event staff at the Pala!
I found a corner table near an exit to help with my claustrophobia.
Also, uncle Jack D.
I'll be back in a few days on the 20th to dine at the Oak room.
Yelpers, stay tuned for more pictures.
Looked and smelled so fresh!!
Decor was beautiful as well and room was so spacious.
Need I say more?
Lobster ravioli is to die for!
Guess it's not Vegas.
We had a large party, and was seated once everyone arrived.
The host were very accommodating and friendly.
The food and desserts were very please click for source />The layout for the buffet was arranged in a way space was plentiful.
I avoyelles grand casino definitely return for the brunch.
CHOICES went to crap.
This is no longer the chocolate Fountain flowing paradise we all once loved.
I guess all good things must come to an end.
Perhaps budget cost many changes for the WORSE have been made.
NOT WORTH THE LONG TRIP.
I see all the money on advertising which makes sense, unfortunately the customers have to bite the short end of the stick.
Also they got rid of my favorite beer Track 7.
Back to San Manuel I go.
Just recently had my 20th high school reunion here.
The reunion itself was amazing.
It just goes to show that anything is enjoyable with good company.
The staff as super friendly and also helped save this review.
With the exception of our bartender.
At times https://sellingonthenet.info/casino/casinos-detroit.html seemed like he was intentionally serving slower than normal.
He had an attitude and to he honest was a little stingy on the pour.
The food was sub-par.
We had ribs, chicken and fish.
I didn't eat the fish or chicken, but the ribs were clearly boiled and then thrown into some kind of sweet and sour sauce.
The salad and cheese bar were good as well as the desserts.
Our room was okay.
We didn't spend much time in there so I wasn't too worried.
We rented a cabana at the pool the next day and I must say I was pleased.
It had a TV and a great view of the entire pool area.
The employees at the pool check in hooked us up with the cabana that gets the most sun through out the day.
Really appreciated that as it was kind if windy, but not intolerable.
After the cabana we went to The Oak room.
It was upscale and pricey, but the service and food was amazing.
I had the prime rib with mac and cheese and my wife had chicken with bacon grits.
The environment is romantic and quiet.
They also have a fire place burning which adds to the ambiance.
Over all - rooms a little pricey right up there with Vegas minus the scenery.
Hotel catered food sucked, but the surrounding restaurants make up for it.
The pool is nice, but what made me give up the 4th star was the staff.
Good job Pala staff for making up the difference!
The scope of this review is limited to the horrors that occurred on Friday, Sep.
Casey attempted to put on a concert, if that's what I can refer to it as, with the help of his now diminished Sunshine Band.
Casey created several remarkable disco tracks in the 70s.
Some of his cooler tracks were even featured on The Simpsons.
Who can forget the use of "Shake, Shake, Shake" on one of Groening's episodes?
Apparently all of Casey's vocal talent remained in the past because this event was a nightmarish evisceration of disco read article />The worst part of the "noise" part of the show was Casey's solo.
A cat gargling nails it found in the street would be sheer euphony by way of comparison.
Maybe someone replaced Casey's sheet music with a piece of paper that had the phrase "Yowling Sounds" scrawled on it.
Casey made the poor choice pala casino buffet yelp talk between songs.
The majority of his comments were restricted to outright mockery of his own set.
The lowlight had to be when Casey said: "I was 'NSync for your parents.
He later tried to allude to how old, bald, and fat he is now, but that fell flat because his singing verified his decline songs ago.
Let's move, well movement is a strong word, onto the dancing--er, um, how about rigid wiggling?
The "dancing" was by far the most emetic quality of the show.
Casey obviously hired dancers a fraction of his age to dance to a cover of "Brick House" by The Commodores.
The attractive dancers in the group were supposed to dance on or near Casey during the song.
Casey is 68 yrs.
The dancers looked about 25.
Projectile vomit has more chemistry than Casey had with the dancers.
Cue the awkward wobbling near Casey with a subconsciously effected buffer zone.
Laughter was difficult to trace back to any one person at this point in the performance.
Maybe the audience found the idea of a 25 year old enchanted by a 68 year old man to be rollicking.
The management of the concert matched the quality of the show.
Chairs were placed right behind each other in tight rows so everyone blocked everyone from a clear view of the fiasco.
Perhaps The Pala was trying to protect us and itself from obscenity lawsuits?
Worse yet, those who had tickets were no better off than people who simply meandered drunkenly out of the casino and into an open seat to see K.
Security did not do its job at all.
They did not keep people out of the event, and they did not warn anyone about hearing loss due to Casey's vocals or lack of same.
The only way I was able to survive this sick joke of a defunct disco band was to laugh hard enough to drown out the crappy gurgles Casey passed off as serenading.
I mean, the kind of laugh where one doubles over and covers one's face with one's hands.
A pose resembling the position one assumes when hiding under a table after Casey attempts to shake, shake, shake things up.
One star for a show featuring a burnt out one.
A refund would be nice because I did not see much of a show thanks to SECURITY, and there was not much of a show thanks to H.
Laughter out loud Pala.
Laughter out louder than Casey's strained solo.
Pala Casino is a great place to visit.
We usually visit Pala Cafe for breakfast on our way out to camp in the Desert.
The food is always fresh, hot and good.
Service is good, as well.
This is Recommended highly.
Don't bother with Pala if your coming for dinner and if you have a toddler.
Their new rule is 1 and older has to pay here price.
Pala needs to put an age requirement on their pricing like Pechanga, theirs is 3-11 at a discounted rate.
Pala has to do better, we will NEVER return.
I called in for a late check in and when we arrived they said they "upgraded" our queen two bed room to a suite.
My immediate question was if the room included two beds and they said the upgrade did not.
But I could get two beds with smoking.
The manager on duty kept discussing the hot tub we would be getting but it was not a selling point for my sister and I and our one night stay.
I took the room reluctantly but they sold us on the pull our couch but that thing had old pretzels on it and the mattress was less then appealing.
On a side note: they advertise this place being close to the wineries but it is pretty far and is on a windy road first casino new york of a road to big bear.
I probably wouldn't come back to this location again and try pechanga.
Maybe the most overpriced hotel ever!
The symphony of car horns, alarms and revving engines overnight was so disturbing!
Even more disturbing was getting up Sunday morning and taking a cold shower because the "boilers were down".
It barely covered two coffees and bagels which we ate in our viewless room because hotels near boardwalk casino port elizabeth could not take showers!
The tub stopper did not work the night prior when we actually had hot water!
I https://sellingonthenet.info/casino/syracuse-new-york-casino.html not stay here again!
WOW, out of 22 reviews just in December, EIGHTEEN were VERY bad on the buffet.
Whats VERY interesting is this, since the new CEO Fred Buros took over in the last few years this place just keeps going down hill?
I could only imagine ya'll are not getting paid well lately???
ALL BECAUSE OF A BUFFET?
Pechanga's buffet is KING NOW, and so is the whole casino.
In my opinion it's going to take PALA many many years to make a come back fi at all.
I'm have a trip there soon but my wallet was stolen so I don't have photo ID right now and I'm waiting on a new one to come In but i want to know if I should move it in case my ID doesn't get here soon enough.
They will check ID if you look young, win a jackpot, or cash in a lot of chips.
The first option is purely discretionary, so it can occur at any time.
This is a fun casino.

Even more disturbing was getting up Sunday morning and taking a cold shower because the "boilers were down".
It barely covered two coffees and bagels which we ate in our viewless room because we could not take showers!
The tub stopper did not work the night prior when we actually had hot water!
I would not stay here again!
I notice at PECHANGA CASINO any time I pout money out there, the pit records it right then and there, but at pala its like never, the dealers also BARELY whisper it so the pit never comes around, not at PECHANGA they yell it out.
