Yosemite National Park California & Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino Coarsegold 10/25-26/2017
This a great place to work don't have no complaints.
Chukchansi Casino takes very good care of it's employees.
You meet people from all walks of life.
Perfect place to meet great team members.
Unfortunately all priorities for to the guests, not employees.
Guests get top of the line food while employees get slop.
The management is biased and infamous for favoritism and you never know when they will fire you for any unjustified reason.
The more you know, the faster you go.
Don't submit an application to work there.
It would be a great place to work if the CEO would learn how to better run the company and interact with people.
The turn-over here is extremely high as a direct result of the CEO's temper, lack of professionalism and child-like handling of simple issues- likewise HR is poorly operated Many angry incompetent managers and sad employees unions are a MUST There is no room for advancement here and low ball pay for dealing with inadequate management and sometimes dealing with customers is mind boggling.
And they will not take your feedback or steal ideas- so most learn to not say anything or laugh.
They provide elementary training and lack qualified training in many areas- come with experience or don't come at all.
And if you take it upon yourself to seek training, they will not reimburse.
This is a very stressful place to work.
It may market themselves as a great place, but I do not recommend it to anyone.
Enjoyed most of the time there but felt as though management did not support new hires as fully as they could.
Benefits were excellent and pay was within normal ranges.
Enjoyed TDR a lot.
Low pay for such a mess inside and most everyone hates working here but they need a job.
Lots of industry oddballs, drunks, check this out, some while at work.
Many looking forward to the other tribe casinos to open so they can quit too.
Too much chaos, instability due to when did chukchansi casino reopen tribe, and negativity.
They try with fluffed training misleading hype but people soon see the truth or others inform you about this place, deplorable leaders and sad tribe.
Good people leave or pushed out which leaves many hopeless.
My first experience was with hr and that was seriously questionable qnd disorganized but I proceeded.
Ive known several employees that complain about violations and they get marked as a trouble maker and treated poorly by upper management or pushed out.
The gossip is ridiculous, but its bc mostly nobody is working and they are bored or lazy.
Advice- Just keep your mouth shut, head down, and do your job while your boss takes a fat paycheck and the security cams watches your every move- such bull.
Trying to control make people afraid instead of building trust.
Not good, nobody trusts anybody.
Plus, we never know when they might have a tribal brawl again and get shut down scary this place has a bad rep in the community for a reason.
I highly suggest not working here if you can help it.
You're life will really suck If your a desperate for a job only otherwise do not expect great things working here.
Quality of life lowers once you work https://sellingonthenet.info/casino/aade-casino-night-houston.html this depressed dungeon of demons.
You are not valued or appreciated at all, some mngrs are discriminatory, low pay, far scary drive, food sucks, customers are meth drunk low lifestyle, most managers are fake, some nice coworkers, harassment is laughed at by directors dirty old menthey fire you if they don't like you get in a union!
The line level staff make the company great.
All the people who go above and beyond are what make that place special and many of them go unnoticed.
A lot of the staff are really great and make it feel like home, but you can only do so much.
No matter how hard you work or how much you do, you are mostly unappreciated.
This is especially true of you are not native Indian.
You will work hard if you have a solid work ethic but you will be surrounded by people who do minimal and expect great rewards for simply showing up.
Organization as a whole had a very entitled-mentality.
Due to tribal pressures, management decisions are often over ridden at executive level to the detriment of operations.
The company does not have a great reputation in the community eg: shut down, failing to pay debt and bills, etc It is a great place to work.
You can literally move into any position you want.
You just have to be willing to work hard and prove you want it.
It is kinda hard to get hired bc they are a tribal preference place, but if you get hired, stay.
Just for being a loyal employee.
Pros: free employee meals, good benefits, fun work culture, good amount of flexibility in PTO, lots of opportunities to move up and transfer to different departments.
Enjoyed working the casino.
Was not happy about commuting everyday.
Great staff and benefits were great.
Management could have been better.
Pay was fair, could have been paid more.
Productive and fun workplace.
Too much political chaos, low pay, intimidation of "the eye in the sky" camera watches bs.
Its YOUR OWN FAULT and fate Not a good place and full when did chukchansi casino reopen bad things.
Many weird people and situations.
It was like working in He11 no joke.
The people who run this circus show must be greedy dumb jokers this is not at all a nice place to come to work to feed your family its torture and cruelty for most.
Orientation provides "kool aid" then u r on u own Everyone does their job.
Must be aware of surroundings at all times.
Must know when to call police or ambulance.
Must write reports when paraphernalia is found on grounds.
I learned real quick it's who you know not what you know.
Some people have positions they are not qualified to have.
Working there keep your head down and mind you're own business.
It was an enjoyable experience, everyday was a new adventure.
The holiday pay, free meals and drinks were nice perks.
The only down side to working there was the commute, it is in a relatively remote location in the foot hills.
This is a Great employer.
I Worked there for 12 years.
They have Good health benefits.
Providing top costumer service to the valley.
I was surprise and lucky enough to have some nice worker during the reopening of main street station casino hotel property that was close for almost 2 years up in the mountains.
Kitchen were closed and dismantled and with all the support and hard work from all the crew we reopen very successfully when did chukchansi casino reopen regain all the costumers from before and doing more business by working hard against the competition.
Up management casinos approved incredible.
Hired me as full time and the first day of orientation pulled the full-time offer and said if i didn't sign for part time then they were no longer offering the job to me.
Even though I already signed my offer letter for full time.
Management was extremely unprofessional.
Didn't give breaks and Wasn't running my end of night reports.
Honestly, I'm sure there are some departments that are great to work for at Chukchansi.
My advice is to be very careful where you get hired there.
